As a student at Hogwarts you will learn to be a Witch or Wizard. You begin your adventure by being sorted into your house. You can do this by taking the quiz and sending a writer+ your results or posting a thread on the joining page. We will then put your name in the common room of the house you belong in. After you have been sorted, you will receive your supply list and 5 points to start out with. There are 3 different types of points: House points, Cash points, and Privilege points. House points go into your house score, like in Harry Potter, and record your house's behavior and excellence. The winning house will get the house cup. Cash points you can get by doing homework assignments and winning quidditch games. You use them to shop for thing you like. Privilege points are points that you need if you want to keep privilege rights such as visits to hogsmede and playing quidditch. You lose Privilege points by not completing necessary tasks. If you lose to many, you get detention. But enough about that for now. You attend classes where you learn to use magic and receive points for completing homework and assignments, which are optional. If you miss too many however, you can lose points or get detention. You have to eat now and then in the Great Hall and sleep in your dorms (your profile page) otherwise you will lose points.
